KAYLA SOWINSKI

TRAINER

Kayla Sowinski was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and raised outside of Sacramento, California. She received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from California State University, Chico, in exercise physiology, with a concentration in biomechanics and strength & conditioning.

Being an athlete herself, Coach Sowinski was drawn to working with professional, collegiate, and high school athletes, and has done so since 2013. Prior to joining the Resilient team, she ran her own business in Nolensville, Tennessee, specializing in force plate technology to help predict her athletes’ injury risks and aid in program development. Coach Sowinski enjoys working with all levels and abilities, priding herself on custom programming to meet each individual’s goals and needs.

When Kayla is not coaching clients, she enjoys going to see live music, competing in CrossFit competitions, being close to a beach or water, eating Mexican food, and traveling all over the United States to spend time with her seven other siblings and family.
