DR. JAYLENE THOMPSON

DR. OF PHYSICAL THERAPY

Dr. Jaylene Thompson graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BS in Kinesiology-Exercise Movement Science. Her interest in physical therapy led her to Northwestern University where she earned her Doctorate Degree. Dr. Thompson started her career in hospital inpatient care in the greater Chicago area. After working with hundreds of patients dealing with pelvic floor health issues, she realized the great need for specialty in this area of rehabilitation. 

Seeking a change of location, she was hired by Results Physical Therapy and practiced in Murfreesboro, TN. Jaylene now joins the Resilient team excited to bring her skills and expertise in pelvic floor health to all those dealing with dysfunctions. When not working, Dr. Thompson enjoys biking, running, hiking and spending time at the lake. 

The pelvic floor is a group of muscles in the pelvis that support pelvic organs, prevent leakage, and play a role in intercourse. Dr. Thompson uses a variety of techniques to target the pelvic floor and surrounding muscles, ligaments, and tendons for full return to activity.

Common conditions treated by Dr. Thompson include pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, pregnancy pains, post-partum return to activity, diastasis recti, pain with intercourse, and pelvic pain.
